Kristian Breton

Director of Outreach Programs at the Columbia Engineering Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science, he was director of the STEM Extracurricular Programs at the New York Academy of Science NY (USA).
From the New York Academy of Sciences, he directed and managed relations with universities and corporations to promote high-quality experiences aimed at young people of school age, university students and professionals. He recruited more than 50 college students per semester to guide their future.
He currently directs the outreach programs for the Columbia School of Engineering and Applied Science, implementing educational and research programs to help faculty and students increase the impact of the School’s effort. Her priority is reaching out to historically underserved K-12 students by collaborating with key stakeholders in the community, as well as the SEAS team on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. It also works to develop relationships with Minority Serving Institutions (MSI) and Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).
