Sarah Alexander

Director of Cabaret Mechanical Theatre, London (United Kingdom).

The Cabaret Mechanical Theater (CMT) was founded in 1979 in England and is considered a central actor for the renaissance of automata (mechanical sculpture) present around the world today.
Director, Sarah Alexander, will explain how CMT continues to roll out its automaton exhibits around the world and encourage people of all ages to make their own automatons through workshops, kits and affordable and easily accessible online and face-to-face manuals.
CMT was founded by Sarah’s mother, Sue Jackson. Sarah Alexander is regularly invited to collaborate and curate exhibitions, as well as to make temporary loans of automata for major international exhibitions.
