Núria Bayó Puxan

Director of Programs, Barcelona Institute of Science and Technology (BIST)

She holds a doctorate in biomedical chemistry from the University of Barcelona and the Biomedical Research Institute of Barcelona. She has worked as a postdoctoral researcher for two years at McGill University and the University of Montreal and two years at ETH Zurich. She then worked as a researcher in a spin-off company for a year and later rejoined IRB Barcelona to lead research transfer projects to the market.
She joined the driving team of the BIST in 2016 to develop strategic lines in the field of scientific talent training.
