Maria Xanthoudaki

Director of Education and the CREI (Center for Research in Informal Education) at the National Museum of Science and Technology Leonardo da Vinci, Milan (Italy).
Professor of “Research Methods in Education” at the Department of Education of the Catholic University of Milan. She has a degree in Pedagogy from the University of Crete (Greece), a Master’s in Art Education and a PhD in Museum Education, both from the University of Sussex (United Kingdom).
In the field of art museums, she worked in the UK with the Victoria & Albert, the Sainsbury Center for Visual Arts and the University of East Anglia, and in Italy with the Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art in Turin, the Querini Stampalia Foundation in Venice and the Museums of the City of Pesaro. Her work in science museums began in 2001 with the Leonardo da Vinci National Museum of Science and Technology, and from this position she continues to organize international collaborations.
