Techno-Scientific Culture
Margarita Padilla

Computer programmer at the Dabne cooperative.
Promoter of Sindominio since 1998 and activist for free software, she likes to think that she works “making the Internet”.
She learned the social and political uses of GNU/Linux in squatted social centers, something that she was never taught at university. Since then she has not stopped investigating the relationship between the social and new technologies.
She likes to move through the intersections between the technological and the popular, bringing people, and especially women and children, closer to technologies from a critical perspective, through fun and rigorous activities.
She is a member of the governing council of Som Connexió.
