Chris Rogers

Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Tufts University and co-director of the Center for Engineering Education and Outreach, Boston, MA (USA).
Most of his current research is in musical instrument design and engineering education. His favorite projects are working with LEGO Education with whom, for over 20 years, he has been developing LEGO MINDSTORMS for Schools and with National Instruments working with Steinway and Sons, Selmer and others on musical instrument design, and working with children (and teachers) to find creative ways to get kids to think like engineers.Chris Rogers has a BS, MS, and Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from Stanford University, where he worked with Professor John Eaton. Rogers joined the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Tufts School of Engineering in 1989.
