Babette Allina

Director of Strategic Programs at Roger Williams University, was Director of Government Relations at the Rhode Island School of Design, Bristol, Rhode Island, (USA).

Since joining RISD in 2008, Babette Allina has combined her background as an artist with her public policy expertise to advance the national movement and agenda for STEAM: Putting the arts at the heart of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) revealing the power of art and design to transform education, research and personal development.
In that position, Allina served as RISD’s primary liaison with government leaders in the City of Providence, the State of Rohde Island, and the United States Congress as well as other external stakeholders.

In January 2022, she has assumed the direction of Strategic Programs at Roger Williams University.
